Small Cap Tech Stocks: Time To Buy?

The last five years I've spent as a trader, but now that I've finally built a small stash, I'm looking at allocating a portion of it to long term investments. I've been doing a lot of stock market research and narrowing down which stocks have good potential for growth.

If you've dug into the tech landscape lately, then you know that a majority of the small cap tech stocks are down at least 50% from their highs with many in the 65-90% range. There has been a huge bear market turning underneath the surface for some time. The strength of the big boys have provided the illusion to the casual observer that all is well.

Now, what I'm wondering, is this the time to buy, or do you think, given the inflation landscape, things will get a lot worse for these stocks? I know timing the market is a fool's errand, which is why I'm planning to DCA. Just looking to hear what others think about this part of the market right now.
