Thoughts on only buying large market cap stocks (Top 100, 100 billion market cap+, and significant index weighting)?

I have done this for the past few months and noticed a huge decrease in stress, anxiety and paper handing. Holdings are TSLA, AAPL, AMZN, MSFT, GOOGL, FB, TSM, NVDA, AMD, SHOP, SQ, PYPL, V, NFLX. I broke my rule for SQ but other that being down big after buying 20-30% below all time on PYPL, FB, SHOP, NFLX doesnt keep me up like how ARK did last year around these times. I could just buy a spy etf but I like the fun of choosing individual stocks but is it safe to say I am heavily reducing risk as my holdings generally move with market?
