Investing in the Metaverse: Buyer, targets, and my predictions

Buyers:

1. Apple Inc.
2. Microsoft Corporation
3. Amazon.com Inc.
4. Alphabet Inc.
5. Meta Platforms Inc.
6. NVIDIA Corporation
7. Walt Disney Company
8. Netflix Inc.
9. NIKE Inc.
10. Sony

Targets:

1. Electronic Arts
2. Take-Two
3. Ubisoft
4. Epic Games
5. Roblox

My Predictions:

1. Netflix purchases Take-Two. Netflix is really interested in mobile & see a good cultural fit with story-telling & open-world genres
2. Either Nike or Disney purchases Electronic Arts since both buyers can get synergies from EA Sports IP. EA also has the most established track record for licensing IP & that could be a good fit for Disney with all of the Marvel, Star Wars, etc. IP. Disney also has a long-term relationship with EA
3. Ubisoft is hard to say. Maybe Netflix due to Assasin's Creed, open-world, and storytelling connection. Amazon or Sony for some reason. I could see Ubisoft give interest to anybody, but IDK if it's the most exciting target
4. I think Roblox & Epic Games aka Fortnite… I think it's up to whoever decides to give the largest bid. These are crown jewels of the metaverse given the large installed base & already do the metaverse along with TTWO better than anyone else
