Why Aren't Americans Ditching Big Banks?

Two decades of quashed savings returns and the motto “don't try to time the market!”, and WSJ is surprised that we haven't taken advantage of higher interest savings accounts? Give it a year or two and then I expect, “Why Do Americans Still Have All Their Savings in Low-Interest Accounts and not the Stock Market?”
