Would you lump sum into the market right now? Need help convincing fiance investing is good

Despite all the graphs and stats I show her, she's still extremely hesitant about investing. I'm of the belief that we should put everything we don't immediately need into the stock market (putting 100% of hers into the s and p, 50% of mine into the s and p, and my remaining 50% into my personal picks). She thinks we should only put “a few thousand” in and see what happens.

I initially lump summed 40k in March 2022 (haven't been able to invest more since then, unfortunately). Almost the worst possible timing. I explained this to her. Shes asking why this time would be any different, since valuations are historically high right now. I'm not sure how to answer this.

I'm also scared that, if the market does drop, she will ask me to sell our stocks. I want to hold forever, and a bit of upside to start might help reassure her that ups and downs are normal and we just have to keep holding. But if it drops 10% next week, she will probably cry.

Any suggestions on what we should do? Historically lump summing would be our best bet, but I'm wondering if DCAing would be better right now. If so, over what period of time? Our total amount ready to invest is about $50,000 right now. We're saving for a down payment on a house in 5-10 years

Also, thank you guys for the upvotes so I meet the karma requirement!
