Would now be a good time to buy stocks?

So I'm kinda a novice to the whole stock game, had some stocks during the summer and cashed out I think August or so, because I could see the recession coming. I got lucky cause the next day the stocks went down I came without some profits (not too much). Right now I feel like October is round a good time to get stocks, and I'm ok with it being lower. Hopefully there's some prosperity during the start of 2023
