Why do people seem to bitch if a stock like AAPL would return 5% a year going forward( if that were the case for a year or two say) but they'll happily hold a value stock giving them a flat to negative return and a 3% dividend for 5 years?
AAPL has returned 333% the last 5 years and everyone will start bitching if they have a flat quarter or year.
I remember not too long ago when AAPL was flat for 6 months and everyone was like “is AAPL a good investment anymore? It's been flat all year!? Waa waaaaa!?
They either don't take the time or are ignorant to the fact that Google has charts for most stocks and buy typing “AAPL stock” in Google and zooming out to 5 yrs they can see that it's freakin returned 333% the last 5 years and they're all whining that 6 to 9 months return was flat! Waaaaaaaaa! Waaaaaaaaa!
