The news situation as followed is Jazz Pharmaceuticals sold Sunosi, a drug, to Axsome Therapeutics for 53 million + royalties.
Axsome has a little bump the last couple days, but I can’t see them making any short-term gains on their next few earning reports being they just spent 53 mil. I sold my shares with them with a 2% gain and it went up even more, but I just can’t see it being profitable in the next 2-3 months.
Jazz is really ramping up on increasing their production globally as well with factory construction. Despite it dropping $5 since selling Sunosi, I’ve been buying stock with the understanding that maybe the next earnings report will be good with the 53 mil + a good long term hold since increasing production now = future profits.
I’m just looking to make sure my logic is somewhat right and reasonable with the given information. Don’t be afraid to tell me I’m wrong. I’m still learning, I’m aware anything can happen and some crazy disaster can happen with JAZZ. But for now with this info, is this an okay call?
