I’ve spoken about Groupon for the last nine months. I don’t know shit except for the mere fact that Groupon is great at selling discounted products and services. This includes spa days, auto detailing, concert tickets, meals etc. all things we’re less likely buy or pay full price for when struggling to make ends meet.
Yes, I’m long Groupon. About 1500 shares. Traded in and out of this position, but I can’t help but think small and large businesses will need a marketing company to help them cash flow, quickly in a recessionary period. Groupon has 25 Million active users not to mention the millions of users that are inactive.
Am I special needs, or does it feel like a safe hedge?
