Will $AMD Repeat the Past & Lose 85-95% of its Value?

Title. In 2000, and then again in 2006, $AMD lost 85-95% of its value within 12-24 months. What happened then, and is there a *plausible* possibility that could happen again?

So far, we're down about 40% from ATH.

I love AMD as a company, but I figured I'd put this out into the ether.
