I am stupid when it comes to investments so please hold back on me.
I’ve been observing the market for quite a while now. First investment was through the money I’ve made as an Author around 3 months ago.
Invested in AST space mobile, 100 shares after the dip when it was 5$ and it’s recently doubled this past week to 10$ per share.
Also invested in Sofi, 95 shares at 7.9 average, Square at 94 average and currently saving up for Googl before the split. Plan on investing the closer it gets to 2500.
I tend to do low $ trades for cheap stocks with potential for growth since it’s easy to accumulate a high number of shares on it.
So far I’ve been on green, I was on red in the beginning but I’m up 112%.
If I were to invest in ETFs for example S&P 500 which is around 400$ per share right now, It would take a long time to make these gains. So why do people insist on doing it and not just analyse what might trend and when?
I hope people don’t find this offensive I’m just curious. I’m also still holding for all those shares that I’ve just mentioned. I’m looking to expand my portfolio.
