Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with AT&T stock and why I ultimately decided to sell all of my shares, despite only making a small profit.
I purchased AT&T stock a few years ago with the hopes of earning a decent return on my investment, especially with their recent acquisition of Time Warner. However, over time, I became increasingly concerned about the company's debt levels, and their ability to compete in a rapidly changing telecommunications landscape.
Despite AT&T's attempts to pivot towards streaming and content creation, I felt that they were lagging behind their competitors and that their long-term prospects were uncertain. Additionally, the dividend yield, which was one of the main reasons I initially invested, was starting to look less attractive as the stock price stagnated.
After much consideration, I decided to pull out of my AT&T stock, barely making a profit. While it was disappointing to sell at a small gain, I felt that it was the right decision for me in the long run.
I'm curious to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience with AT&T or other companies, and how you decided to handle the situation. Thanks for reading!
