So the title says it all. I feel like there is still a possibility of making a stock that lets you day trade. It could be called the stock fund or something like that. So how it would work is that a stock or ETF would gather 100,000 shares and IPO at $1 each. You can then forcefully increase the display price but it wouldn't be worth that much, maybe possibly at around $250 at 3:55pm EST, since some brokers require you to have a 25k portfolio before close to day trade. The price could also be changed based on how many people want to day trade, or even do stock splits on it. The reason why it wouldn't be 25k is because exchanges can completely delist the stock, and I don't think FINRA likes it. But yeah, why hasn't anyone made this?
No I'm not asking for a pump and dump. I'm asking that can there be a stock that promises to increase the display price for the sole purpose of unlimited day trades, without increasing the actual value?
I'm not joking at all. I would like to know how it would and wouldn't work.
