Why does $VUG ETF occasionally show large after hours drops?

Right now, $VUG is showing as down ~6% after hours. I have seen this happen before, it usually disappears before the next trading day opens.

I imagine there is some sort of technical cause (portfolio rebalancing, quarterly rebalancing, dividend, etc), I was just wondering if any of you knew for sure why this is.
