Why does the Nasdaq ETF not pay a dividend, but the S&P 500 does?

Some of the companies listed on the NASDAQ 100 do pay a dividend, so what happens to them? Are they simply baked into the share price via investment rather than paid out?

I tried to ask this before but my post got auto removed for low effort. I've not been able to find this exact answer online, so if anyone knows I'd be grateful!

I've been averaging in to the Nasdaq weekly since the beginning of the year, and my already existing position in the S&P 500 just paid a dividend today.

TL;DR Dividends feel nice, why Nasdaq not give?
