Hey, I thought it would be cool to share you guys a chart that I found out through Substack that is actually quite informative. They shared a chart picture regarding about how they gathered a couple of top semiconductor company in the world and weighted them, classifying them as “World, Semiconductor Company.” They should have grabbed a couple of well-known and top companies for this new classification. They then provided a couple of indicators showing the relevance to why its growing through gross margin and also inventory days.
Thought it was quite interesting and also very easy to see the reason as to why semiconductor companies have been on the rise and earning big bucks. When the gross margin increases and inventory days decreases, it shows through the chart that semiconductor industry in general are in an upward cycle and the opposite happens vice versa.
