Why do equities keep going up with all the bad data and higher bond yields?


Stock indexes in Europe and the US seem to just keep going up despite higher bond yields, a surprise ECB hike today, and US CPI and PPI coming in higher than anticipated.

Why is money still flowing into equities with the above being the case? Why would you invest now and risk your capital when you could just buy a bond that yields more without risking capital?
