Before you say it, yes I know the deal hasn't gone through, and Elon is trying to pull out. But what I don't know is much about stocks. So here I am asking you all what may sound like a very basic question and I might be stupidly missing something obvious. Why couldn't Elont just buy Twitter cheaper, especially when he thinks a recession is inevitable. Is it because Tesla's stock is likely to fall hard against the value of $TWTR?
