Can anyone explain why people think $NVDA stock will go up after the earnings report? From everything I've read, if the earnings report exceeds expectations, most people are encouraged to lock in their profits, and the stock goes up. And of course, if the earnings report falls below expectations the stock also falls.
Also; didn't Nvidia spend a lot of money this quarter on developing artificial intelligence, building factories, collaborating with other brands, etc.? Meanwhile they didn't sell anything to companies this quarter because they just started production; and they didn't release anything to the public (like graphics cards, etc.).
