Why Are Central Banks Irrational


We had 40 years of decreasing interest rates, by excluding shelter from the CPI, and the wealth effect from housing. But what is the point in all this, is there a section in economics textbooks about intentionally blowing up bubbles?

Now rates have to rise, and a lot of debt printed will have higher servicing fees. So why did again did we intentionally do this in the first place?
