Which would you rather buy/hold?

A high valuation profitable growth stock, or a lower valuation unprofitable growth stock? I got into a debate yesterday with a commenter who was telling me how overvalued enphase is and that the current stock price would take 40 years of growth to catch up to. This commenter holds Sofi though and feels it’s a bargain because it’s price to book value. So wanted to open up the discussion and see what your preferences would be: would you rather buy into a highly valued growth stock that’s achieved profitability, a lower valued growth stock that has not achieved profitability, neither, both?
