I really apologize if this is a dumb question, but I’m just curious about how it seems there’s so much more stock movement now compared to pre-covid. Maybe it’s just recency bias or something, but I feel like stocks used to never gap up like they do now. SPY almost moves like a meme stock on some days. Multiple trillion dollar company’s now, too.
So I guess my question is what’s changed? How is there (seemingly) so much more money in the stock market now?
