Where do you fetch macroeconomic data from?

I am relatively new to stocks. I have been introduced to the market one year ago and I am still learning. I believe that the best way to invest is either in a passive way with some kind of Vanguard ETFs. However, I have always been passionate about the macro aspect of the market. A little bit like Ray Dalio. I like to see how different events impact the market.

I would like to start modeling and trying stuff out but I don't know what is the best place to get reliable and up-to-date data. Also, I would like it to be free, but I doubt that this kind of website exists unless may be a governmental thing. I am mostly interested in the US even though I don't live there.

Thanks in advance for your answers and I am open to any feedback. Thanks again
