Started investing in 2021 when a buddy of mine told me I should invest in GameStop (mistake #1 – listening to others investment advice). So I dropped a bunch of money on GameStop all at once (mistake #2 – not DCAing) and am left holding the bag to this day. I don’t necessarily need the money any time soon and I expect anyone reading this to laugh at me and how stupid I am but just looking to see if anyone’s ever been in a similar situation with a non-meme stock. I am down 50% on it. Every so often I check out their sub but I am tired of the echo chamber and how snobby everyone there is. I don’t really want to sell all of it and eat the loss but I also am completely ready to hop off the wagon and reinvest into my Roth IRA. I am only 21 and am obviously new to investing so does anyone have any similar experiences? Particularly with biting the bullet and selling for a big loss
