When shares get called away, how soon do you see that reflected in your account?
Details:
I sold a 7/5 covered called for ASTS at 11.50 strike
Strike price definitely met today as it closed at 12.40
But, looking at my account, it seems as though the shares are still there and haven’t been called away.
Does someone have to exercise their contract before market close for shares to get called away? Or would it not be until Monday that they actually transfer from my account?
Sorry for n00b question or if this doesn’t belong in this sub. Still learning….
