When selling long term shares, does it matter which ones I sell?

Currently thinking about selling off a small portion of my AAPL. I’ve bought ~6 “increments” of 2/3 shares.

I’ve always heard “sell the oldest shares first” but does this really matter once they all hit the 1 year mark? Should I sell the highest cost ones to keep my average per share down?

I feel like this is a perfect “well i never thought I’d make it this far” plankton meme.
