I wouldn't say I'm new to investing, but I am an amateur. In 2014, after I left my PT job with Lowes they gave me the option to roll over my 401K and keep the stock shares that were given to me… And this was right after I graduated HS in 2013.
Well here I am in 2022, with my IRA that has grown a few hundred dollars over time because I bought a few shares in the past from low risk companies(Apple, GM, Ford, GE, etc.), but I would like to go beyond this and get a stronger hold of investing my IRA the correct way.
I had a book that was kinda help (Investing for Dummies), but I allowed a friend to “borrow” the book and never got it back. What are some other helpful resources out there that can get me on a better path to investing? Not looking for individual advice, but resources I can get better knowledge to investing.
Time is only moving forward pretty fast, and I'm not getting any younger, so I'd like to start sooner rather than later.
