When do you know to invest into a gainer?

Typically I’m used to DCA.

If I believe in a company and know it is undervalued, I will DCA up to a max loss.

That’s easy, keep buying it as it goes lower… right?

The issue I’m having is investing upwards. Currently I made 120% return on PLTR since the AI boom. I had held it previously from 11 to 8 dollars and kept DCA. Now I feel like I need to invest more into it but there is this fear of losing the gains. I’m not using to averaging up.

How do you guys deal with your gainers? Do you exit and take the gain or do you invest more even if you know the price is relatively unrealistic in a short period of time and can drop just as quick as it rises?
