What you have heard is True. I, am lazy. I'm also a nobody, so you probably haven't heard it
Anyway, I've got a question. All these tech layoffs- Meta, Twitter etc, are giving generous severance packages, seemingly an average of 3 months salary. More if you've worked there for years.
I know those amount they will incur in severance, perhaps a lawsuit or ten, won't be much, but here's my question. Do they take all that cost together in one quarter on their books?
Or are these layoff associated costs distributed as they're paid out?
In case anyone has read the correct financial releases, or simply knows for some reason how they operate
