I entered the workforce right before the pandemic hit (I’m in my 20s) and the stock market has gradually been more and more awful. I always heard stocks are a good investment, but it’s hard to believe that from what I’ve seen so far. Although I hope to invest long-term as well, I was really hoping to have some investments I could cash in for my late 20s/early 30s, with a goal of growing my money so I’ll soon have more available for goals like a wedding, down payment toward a house, travel, and expenses for future kids (like daycare). Any advice on stocks to keep an eye on that should hopefully increase in value within the next 1-3ish years – so if I buy them now, I can sell them in my late 20s/early 30s for a good return on investment?
