What stocks have you held longest?

What stock(s) have you held longest?

And for how long? Through thick and thin?

Might be a bit more credible than these endless “What are your buy and hold forever conviction stocks?”

Me, I’ve held BP since 2008. I averaged down during Deepwater Horizon but from first entry it’s about 30% down (excluding dividends, which are significant).

Also held AstraZeneca since 2016, which is up about 110% (also ex div). Sold some though. A mistake but I probably needed the funds (which is the point, life happens and gets in the way of your “hold forever” intentions).
