I have some IWM shares and compared to VOO or VTI, which it usually slightly underperforms…but the past 102 years have been awful! It's way off the broader market. When does the Russell do well? What conditions or part of the economic cycle might it do better. Mind you today was one of those days. I can't figure this out. Does anyone have knowledge about this sector?
