I’m a newbie trader. Since I'm just starting off, I'm still learning about charts and indicators, been watching a lot of strategies and lessons on Youtube. I also look after calls from news sources and recommendations from experts. I currently rely on what little knowledge I do have, and, to be honest, I tend to entrust my trades to different financial analysts frequently. However, I feel like I am failing to improve my trading skills. I am sick of hearing supposedly knowledgeable people repeatedly make incorrect predictions while still being asked for their advice.
My brother's longtime trader friend told me this weekend that participating in prediction competitions is a great way to improve your trading abilities. He encouraged me to join so I could practice, test my abilities, and get better at making high-probability trades. He has been actively participating in numerous stock and cryptocurrency prediction tournaments for a long time here on Reddit.
He shared with me this link. where he said he's already participating and that this one is giving prizes to the winners. Has anyone here already joined in this? How was the experience?
