Sweetgreen has been pretty popular the last year or so and they’ve been popping up left and right. With 980 restaurants, Sweetgreen is valued at $1.1 billion and $10.40 per share which is around 52 wk lows. Just under 3x revenue to market cap, but still not profitable. I don’t know much about their restaurants other than this. They currently hold 0 debt.
As I was looking into this, I noticed that 96% of shares are held by institutions which would probably scare the average investor off.
Could this be a potential good investment in the upcoming years?
