I remember as a teenager my manager at Papa John's would always say pizza is recession proof, this was 2009 during housing crash recession, which left many worried but damn did the phones still ring for some pizza.
Now we have massive inflation, worries of a looming recession, war, etc.. It begs me to ask the question, what companies create products resistant to inflation or recession?
Maybe this question sounds novice or is not worded properly, but was hoping somebody has a few ideas like my old manager did, and can recommend some companies which fit this mold? Are there other companies with products which are for the most part unaffected by inflation or recessions?
