What can you do or say to prevent friends/family members from committing suicide that started investing after the meme movement in Jan 2021?

I know a couple of people who saw the AMC/GME thing in the news and thought the stock market was a place to make cash quick and take them out of poverty. Others saw Elon Musk host SNL and that coin that cant be named rising and invested in that.

So 15 months later they all lost their life savings and are down between 85-99% on their capital. They even put their emergency fund into it since they thought buying the dip would reward them not knowing buying the dip is for good companies not those coins, meme stocks, certain SPACs, etc. Im now hearing them making suicide remarks that they want to end it because they cant tell their wives or family about their losses. What can I do to help them if anything.
