I suppose this is a somewhat typical thread, but let's not just talk about “What are good stocks / what should I buy?” I want to know what your favorite stocks are, ie, the ones you get emotionally attached to (even though you shouldn't!) and like having in your portfolio! Not necessarily the “best” ones.
I'll start:
IMBBY – Nothing like a good old tobacco business doubling down on cigarettes when everyone else is trying to expand into other areas.
KOF – Why buy KO at a sub 3% yield when you can get this one at 4% even after taxes?
ING – That sweet sweet discount after the war broke out. DRIP DRIP DRIP for life.
TPB – Zig Zag papers having double digit growth with legalization trends? Count me in!
BUD – poor management and debt-fueled acquisitions can't turn me away from the company that produces 1 in every 3 beers in the world
