Hi All,
I genuinely do believe we are still at the “early adoption” phase of EVs and will likely only see a massive increase in their presence over the next two decades. Here are just a few reasons I believe so:
- 17 States Weigh Adopting California's EV Mandate – AP News
- EVs to Make-up 25% of China's Vehicles by 2025 – Reuters
- U.S. Infrastructure Bill and Inflation Reduction Act will direct billions into EV development and charging infrastructure (too lazy to link, but a quick Google search will get you the exact estimates).
I'm personally not a fan of hyper-speculative companies or ETFs with crazy-high fees, but I'm curious to hear what people here are betting on.
With the above in mind, what do you think are some good stocks or ETFs for the longer-term EV play?
P.S. Also love to hear opposing opinions and try to poke holes in my own hypotheses – feel free to offer up some counter-opinions if you're not a believer in the EV play.
