A year ago I had the idea that because of the unjustified bullish mania (ntf sold at 1 million, crypto bubble etc) a big crash of equivalent caliber would have followed (if the high is that high the crash will be the same) and in fact here we are with the crash. I then later formulated the theory that the fed wanted to put the markets in stagflation for a few years to buffer all the money previously printed in 2020 and in fact this is what they are doing.
But now flashes into my mind the idea that they want deflation instead. For these reasons:
1) they can't let the dollar go to shit
2) the debt becomes serviceable if there is deflation
3) Up until today, they have printed money to get out of crisis but this becomes less and less effective, in fact the last time they did it in 2020 they caused inflation and all this crap that we are now paying with a stagnant market
deflation means no gains for the stock market
