We are already over analyst predictions of the S&P 500 close in 2024, so is a drop expected?

The average that most analysts at the top banks was the S&P500 closing at 5,200. We are already well above that and almost at 5,500 which was the very highest estimate. So is there any reason to be optimistic that is will go much higher, and not drop. Obviously no one can predict the future but if every top bank is predicting it doesn't end higher than 5,500 isn't that a cause for concern? Like this market can't just keep going up forever and if a lot of the richest people controlling the market aren't optimistic then why should we not be worried?
