Wash Sales Are Dumb

I am up overall on a stock. Bought low, sold high. Then bought high sold low, lost a little bit of money. Bought more for low, triggered wash sale, sold high (being up overall). Dipped recently bought more, up on this position as well.

The wash sale is still there despite being up on my position overall. This is dumb, I won't get to write this off as a loss if I lose money, but I'm gonna have to pay taxes if I make money?? This is not fair, and the country is greedy!
