According to shortsqueeze.com 45% of shares ( up from 38% ) are owned by institutions.
4% owned by the company.
There are 23k watchers on stocktwits. If they all owned 2k shares it would seem all the shares are gone. Now some own 0 and some own far more than 2k according to the post. It would seem as if the float is gone. The daily avg trades are showing around 1-1.2m the shorts have 16ish days to cover from what I can find. Short is about 20-25% of shares given by different sites.
How are they supposed to cover that many shares if my math is correct and the % of institutional ownership is correct and the float is actually less than those two numbers?
Is there a way to find out how many shares are held by retail investors besides trying to track them down and ask them all?
