I tried so hard to leave Robinhood back when I was following the public pitchfork mob in wake of the meme-stock trade-halting meltdown of 2021.
Here the thing: I cant’t leave. They have made investing and actively building my portfolio so damn easy. I tried other platforms, and literally no broker interface could beat it. (For someone who is not day trading)
For >90% of investors, Robinhood gives you everything you could need, and they make those tools ridiculously accessible.
Even with payment for order flow, you make not like that firms can profit off your order data, but the resulting effect on you is almost entirely negligible.
I think their shit is good, and I’m happy to keep trading with them.
