There's a few things i've noticed about Uber that makes me really bullish over the next 1-2 years. Uber quietly reported Q1 earnings that beat on many metrics. For one, revenues grew to $6.85B Q1 2022 from $5.78B Q4 2021. This is a $1.07B increase in revenue whereas previous quarters it grew at $0.93B. The CFO mentioned they also got closer to breakeven for free cashflows and they expect to be positive free cashflow in FY2022. That's pretty huge imo. Now take a look at a company like Lyft, one of Uber's competitors. Their Q1 2022 revenues are contracting, going down to $875M from $969M. This on top of the news that Lyft is slashing jobs makes it look like they're losing to Uber and Uber will take more market share. If Uber can start showing profits this year as they mentioned in their earnings call, i think this will be a huge catalyst for the stock price to rise.
