Twitch to shut down in Korea over expensive network fees which caused the Amazon owned streaming service to operate at a significant loss.

This is effectively a layoff of Amazon owned Twitch Korean division without calling it a layoff. Twitch Korea was losing a significant amount of money due to the high fees, 10 times more expensive than most other countries.
