Hi
Given the food insecurity wit the war in Ukraine, I believe wheat and grain in general will rise in price. and I want to invest in it. I see two options: commodity ETFs and funds. Specifically, I see Teucrium Commodity Wheat Fund (WEAT) and ETFS WHEAT (WEATP). There are also some leveraged ETFs.
This is a new kind of investment to me as I normally invest in shares or share ETFs. How should I approach these commodity ETFs: how are they linked to the price of wheat and how would the price go up? Does it function like a normal share or do I have to take other things into account?
And if you say that these instruments are not for me as a fairly amateur investor, what shares(/ETFs should I invest in to get exposure to agriculture?
