Took a small gamble

This evening I took a small gamble on ticker FPI for $10.72 and I’ll watch it to see what it does. I try watch what senators and congressional members are buying and one member (who I’ll keep private to stay on topic) bought anywhere between $1k to $15k of this company. That’s a lot to spend on stocks that only employ 30 people. So it popped off a red flag. While reading about them I see they have a 2.15 Dividend Yield. That caught my attention as well. I only bought one because I was buying other bonds and such to grow my retirement portfolio. Anyway I don’t know if I’m onto something here or if I’m just tossing money away. We’ll see.
