Viking Therapeutics is developing novel therapies for metabolic and endocrine disorders. The company plans to advance VK2735 to Phase 3 for obesity, with an end-of-Phase 2 meeting scheduled for 2H 2024, and expects to begin a Phase 2 study of oral VK2735 in obesity in Q4 2024.
I just bought it today at $50 average today before market closed. I knew it was gonna get up at least 15% after today’s earnings report. Today they released earnings and some good news. In short, they will start phase 3 and oral drug will start phase 2. Both are huge and they are indicating on a possible buyout. It’s already $60 right now after hours. I’m thinking should I sell it for 60-70$ tomorrow if I can and get back by next month around August 10. Reason for me to sell is I always think never bag your profits and I also got some other plays I want to execute with that money by then.
