I wanted to get more thoughts on The Trade Desk and it’s prospects as an individual company + the sector as a whole.
I’m not an expert on the digital advertising space at all but my main thoughts are that advertising isn’t going anywhere given literally everything is an ad it seems. Advertising budgets can obviously fluctuate but it seems they have a decent solution for advertisers to flex their budgets up / down.
Concern would be that the massive run up they had prior to COVID would have taken a lot of the opportunity out and they are down a lot from their ATH (like pretty much everyone else). At least they have positive earnings which is better than a chunk of recent tech companies that have gone public.
