Thoughts from a $1 million brokerage account

This is going to be short and to the point.

I diversify everything in my life. I operate on the principles of financial redundancy. I came from a poor family of a single mother and an absent alcoholic father. When you come from nothing, you realize the good times can be taken away in an instant. Remember that. So diversify.

I have 4 businesses. Some do great at times, and some don't and vice versa. I diversify. This took me many years to build and I am approaching 40 years of age.

I have 6 rental properties. Most of the time they are rented, but shit happens to.

I invest in 7 index funds. 60% stocks, 30% bonds, 10% in an options trading fund. I am down 5% total since the beginning of the year which = $50k. It sucks. But it is what it is. I to bought stuff at ATH, so FML… but I continue to DCA. Gonna put another 5k in tomorrow.

I paid off my home last year and got solar panels. Best decision I ever made. Shit could crumble around me and my family and I would be fine. I diversified.

The point of this post is this = diversify your shit. Being 100% in on the stock market is foolish. You people are freaking out and shouldn't be. This will pass. It always does as long as you invest wisely. If you gambled, then sorry. I really am but that is the risk you took.

DIVERSIFY EVERYTHING! Integrate financial redundancy into your life. And for christ sake, dont sell right now… just hold.
